Wiim connection breaking - unstable operation

I'm not sure if the recent sw update (5.0.716363) or something else causing issues, but I'm experiencing strange and very unstable operation of my wiim amp. Please note I have 2 devices, 1 is working correctly, the newly bought wiim amp has issues.
Problems:
- Wiim amp device disappearing from the device list every now and then
- Streaming from Spotify breaking "sounds like" nw connection issues, however the device is 0,5m from the wifi. I've tested the nw from other devices and it is stable. No packet loss, no huge ping, etc. Either the wiim amp nw device fails or the sw bug.
- I played 10 songs from spotify, but after I closed and shut down the wiim, I was not able to stream again. Not from spotify, not from tidal.
- I haven't changed anything, but now I cannot stream from Spotify nor from Tidal
- optical input with ps4 seems ok
- I restarted, unplugged, set to factory ->didn't helped.
Anyone else experiencing the same, or I should give it back to the dealer?

Thanks.

I have already created a support ticket. Is it enough? #532741

Did you try an Ethernet cable from your router?

Note that you can actually get too close to the WiFi router, so that the signal get too strong. This can lead to signal saturation, reduced data dates and connection instability.

My WiiM amp seems to be experiencing similar problems with Spotify Connect. Preset playback does not work and sometimes the Amp does not appear in the device list in the Spotify app. Sometimes it does appear, but is connected via GoogleCast.

I've reset the device multiple times. I was able to add the device to the list, but Not able to stream at all from Spotify or from Tidal. At the beginning the wiim amp was visible, then it was just disapeared. If the lan cable plugged in, I am not able to set to setup mode the device. I've tried multiple times, but it just does not go to setup mode (3sec play hard button). When I remove the lan cable, I can setup the device, but after the successeded setup it is just disappears. Once I plug the lan cable again, the device appears, however the mobile app shows it is offline. Everything seems quite hectic.

edit:Once I plug in the nw cable the device goes offline. The cable has no issues
Sounds like your network is somehow split into several logical networks and your phone are switching between those.

All devices must be on the same logical network. Do you have a Mesh Network or something like that?

I have a mesh, but the other node is very far from this device. The same stands for my phone. I am close to the master node with the phone. This issue was never appeared with my other Wiim Amp. Now I am connected with LAN cable for testing purpose. All devices on the same nw. I have a quite basic mesh, and none of my devices had issues in the past. From my gut feeling its either sw bug or nw device issue. I am 100% sure my nw part is stable with no interference, etc.

Ok. And your Mesh Network is working as an acces point and not as a router? Are the Mesh Network access points names unique or the same as the main router?

Support found unstable wifi at the wiim amp side. They pushed another version of the firmware, now I'm testing it. My side of the nw should not have any issues, I have 10+ connected devices on wifi and others on lan and non has any issues ever. We'll see. I get back to this post once I have finished the testing and have any results

The device has now fixed IP. It worked for an hour without any issue, then it started to have packet loss, and went offline:

Ping statistics for 192.168.31.224:
Packets: Sent = 1068, Received = 1041, Lost = 27 (2% loss),
Approximate round trip times in milli-seconds:
Minimum = 3ms, Maximum = 404ms, Average = 6ms

So after the device disconected eventually. I've used with LAN it seems ok. After I removed the lan cable the wifi worked for some minute. I disabled the 5ghz enforcement, started a new ping -t and I still have packet loss. My other wiim amp has no packet loss at all
