@WiiM Support The wrong Preset picture is now saved when setting a radio station as a Preset. The picture set is from the current playing track and not the station logo.

The logo is correctly used in the "Recently Played" list but not in the "Presets" list.

Unable to move any preset is this related to firmware?
I got this update yesterday but still haven’t got the firmware yet

That's not new to me. It's the behaviour I've seen for months.

Having the station logo would be better, no question. :)

I don't think so. Just did a rescan and I still have the same issue. Maybe in the next update 🤞.
Works for me. It did with WHA 3.1.3, already.

I only have two albums where the ALBUMARTIST tag is "Various Artists" and the ARTIST tag contains individual values, but both of them are shown and sorted correctly.

Here are some sample screenshots.

First, the Albums view, sorted by Artist + Year:
IMG_20250225_234400.jpg

The albums "Airwolf" and "Garden State" do not show up anywhere else in the Albums view. Just here under Various Artists.

When tapping on one of these albums, the artist is not shown in the track list, as one might wish for. But as soon as a song plays, the individual artist is shown correctly on the control panel at the bottom:
IMG_20250225_234436.jpg

Tapping that panel opens the Now Playing screen and again the individual artist gets displayed:

Now on to the Artists view. Obviously, no artist artwork, at least not yet:
IMG_20250225_234542.jpg

Note how individual artists do appear in this view even if there is not a single full album.

Tapping Various Artists here starts by displaying a list of tracks on Various Artists' albums (not overly useful, but I can live with that) and a list of albums (which is perfectly useful):

Stepping back to one artist having no full album, this is what the WiiM Home app has to say about Vanessa Williams:

Nice.

I do have the ALBUMARTIST tag in set for all albums, not just for those featuring tracks from multiple artists.

This is pretty much good enough for me at the moment. Even more so as the contents of the USB memory key is really just a copy of what's on my NAS media server. ;) I mainly did this just for the fun of it.

And ironically at least for my WiiM Am Pro (no smart presets, yet) the issue is actually fixed now. :) Saving Radio Paradise mixes to the existing presets resulted in the logo being displayed. 🤷‍♂️

If I set Radio Paradise in Preset on old version I get the logo.
On new (beta) version I don't get the new RP logo but the current playing album art.

Hi hgo58,

This is a known issue, and we will fix it this month.

I've rescanned and checked the meta data and I still have the problem. See screenshots attached. As of 18 February Wiim Support said they were working on it. So hopefully fixed in next release, or soon.

What beta version? Aren't we talking about the WHA 3.1.4 gold release here?

OTOH it is obviously also related to the device and/or firmware version. On my WiiM Amp Pro using the GA firmware 5.2.707244 the behaviour is exactly the other way around, it's working now as expected again.
@WiiM Team, please don't break it for other devices when fixing it for the Ultra. ;)

Interesting. I don't have the time to check what's really stored in files.db, but that's just part.if the story anyway. Will do that later.

Did you also clear the app cache, not just the wiim_cache folder? The answer might be similar to the other case and behaviour may depend on both, app version and firmware version.

Just to show that the topic does not fepend.on list view vs. tiles view:

Thanks for the help.

I just tried a rescan after clearing the app cache - no change.

After your last reply I reformatted the USB drive and recopied the FLAC files to the USB. I assume this would clear the wiim_cache file.

You're right. If I use the "Folder" view the compilation albums are correctly listed.
