When I go to “Source Input” then the Settings for each input I see no option subwoofer level. Could this be available in a future update? Thanks

This has been requested several times for both Android and iOS but ignored by @WiiM Team. So don't think that is a priority for WiiM.
Hi hgo58,

We’re currently working on this feature and plan to begin beta testing on Android by the end of this month. Due to additional limitations on iOS, development will take more time on that platform.

Hi BK308,

We’re developing a new feature that allows you to customize a specific sound profile for each input. This includes playback devices, screen settings, EQ, volume, subwoofer configuration, and more. Stay tuned!

UPDATE: After posting this query here, WiiM replied to my ticket (thank you!) In case anyone else has the same query, the public release of 3.1.7 discussed here does not yet include the fix given to me, but should be in the next release.

@WiiM Support @WiiM Team

@RyanWithWiiM

I was sent a link to a version of 3.1.7 for one of my devices that was having an artwork display issue in My Music.

My question is what happens to the WiiM Home App on that particular device? Will it still update to newer versions, and if so, will the fix provided in the version sent to me remain? Apologies for posting here, but I'm no longer receiving any responses to my ticket queries.

Thanks in advance.

It's now possible to rename all inputs but only the "Line In" and "Optical In" renaming is reflected on the Ultra screen.

Looks like this new feature, that is not listed in the release notes, is only partially implemented?

Another interesting RC beta feature seems to have been silently added:

Personally I'm not a huge proponent of FDW for room correction, but I am excited to test the WiiM implementation!

Regarding Bug Fix 3: "USB Media Library"

After updating on Android today and re-scanning the USB drive (Quick and Full Re-scan). The issue (not really a big thing) relating to Various Artist albums has changed but still isn't quite right. The album artist is stated as the artist of the first track on the album and not "Various Artists" which is the name in the album artist tags.

I've updated case #526002.

Hi dominikz,

We realized we hadn’t created a dedicated thread for discussing the new FDW-enabled Precision Room Correction feature. It’s now live — feel free to join the conversation and share your thoughts in the thread below:

Improving this feature really seems to be THE priority, more than the accessory/appearance elements....

completed, enriched, perhaps Wiim's little pride in having offered it to the general public, up to its little "mini" now....

but it still needs to be efficient and "intelligent"....
especially since it concerns all Wiim products! (Not just the management of a small screen of an ultra... nor seeing referrals on Apple TV screens.... ;-) )

;-)
(sub processing also for the ultra)

(gain max different in positif and neg is important for calculation, and multimesure not beta too ;-) )
