I think it reflects what’s on the now playing screen in the app, so you’d need to open the app to change that I’d guess.Lock screen control works when a single device is playing. When multiple devices are playing different tracks I am not sure it works for mire than one.
Yeah,With this new version I am having many cases where the app display is not being updated correctly when it has been in the background and is opened in the foreground. This can be the Favorites page only showing the Presets and nothing else or, as attached, the device page not updated with actually playing album art.

Has anybody else seen these missing updates?
This is the best I could get, but only after disabling automatic power management fof the WiiM Home app on my Poco X6 Pro (Android 15). At least the text updates quickly now on the device tile. With this new version I am having many cases where the app display is not being updated correctly when it has been in the background and is opened in the foreground. I think I have seen similar behaviour with older app versions where I have had to back out of a screen and re-enter it to make it update after leaving the app in the background. This is the best I could get, but only after disabling automatic power management fof the WiiM Home app on my Poco X6 Pro (Android 15). With default "smart" (ha!) power management setting enabled, neither the device tile nor the playback control would update in a timely fashion.
Edit: This had not been an issue with the previous app versions anymore.
So, I'm pretty sure that this is mostly the typical clash between the OS trying to put the app to sleep and the app fighting it. Not entirely successfully.
So have I. But I'm under the impression that I didn't habe to change the power management settings from default since a couple of months now.I think I have seen similar behaviour with older app versions where I have had to back out of a screen and re-enter it to make it update after leaving the app in the background.
No setup required, it will appear when your device is on the Lock Screen - it’s not like a Home Screen widget which you’d need to manually set up.
- [iOS] Now Playing on Lock Screen
- See what’s playing and control playback right from your Lock Screen -I don't have it, how do I set it up?
Thanks. What are you playing to your Ultra and how? I believe it may not work if you’re casting from another app?
USB-диск --- Ultra --- iPhone 14 с пультом дистанционного управленияСпасибо. Что вы проигрываете на своем Ultra и как? Я думаю, что это может не сработать, если вы транслируете из другого приложения?
That should work. Maybe raise a ticket to WiiM via the more/feedback section in the app so they can inspect your device logs - maybe it’s an issue with your model of phone/iOS version. Good luck…USB disk --- Ultra --- iPhone 14 as a remote control
It looks like you might be searching for it on your iOS home screen, but it’s actually located in the Control Center—where you see the cards for volume, brightness, Wi-Fi, and Cellular.iPad Air also doesn't display anything on the lock screen.

WiiM Home .
Дайте мне знать, если у вас возникнут какие-либо трудности с поиском!
I tried to change the power management. That didn't resolve the issue. So have I. But I'm under the impression that I didn't habe to change the power management settings from default since a couple of months now.
I could be wrong.
And it could also be that some update (app or OS) reverted the settings that I had picked and forgotten about.
Nit sure if phone makers are still simply relying on whitelists for important apps or if Android has come so smart that it tries to detect apps dealing with media streaming or GPS automatically. If so, there's room for improvement.
Have you tried clearing your cache and restarting your phone? This a got after switching to the app from the background. I needed to restart the app to resolve it.
