Is there a reason for your chosen lower limit of 120Hz? Most of my issues are below that.
Agreed, I'd also use a much lower frequency, basically based on the system's low-frequency extension.
E.g. if the system plays down to 25Hz (-3dB) in-room, I'd set RC correction range to 25Hz-400Hz.

@WiiM Support — since you’re obviously dedicated to providing high quality room correction, please give us the ability to use an external mic with a calibration file. I’m simply not ever going to trust my iPhone — years old, bashed around, covered in lint — compared to my Umik-1 with a third party calibration file.

It took a while...but now it's the case...

You can. It is in the Room Correction settings after you plug in your external mic.

The evaluation part of the Room Correction process is still using a sweep even when using MMM. Does that make sense?

Oh wow! Didn’t see that mentioned anywhere! Haven’t gotten the latest firmware or app yet. Now I have to test WiiM RC against what I did with REW.

I was delighted to see the Minim Media Server integration and happily pressed the button to create the index. And I was then able to browse the files and play them back. So this morning I selected a file and pressed play and it just skipped through any album I played without playing any track. I then tried using another device and skipped the creation of the index when asked. And the music played fine. It’s almost as if the index and the actual server files have become disconnected

My understanding is that the WHA downloads all the metadata and media URLs from MinimServer (which don't change across scans unlike some other servers) so I don't think it's possible to become disconnected - unless the server is of course. Had you performed a MinimServer rescan?

If you really want to debug this:
  • Find a track to play in "Advanced mode" and before queueing with 'Play Next' (from vertical ellipis)
  • Right click MinimWatch on your desktop and select Show Log.
  • Clear the log
  • Change Logging level to debug
  • Play the track using 'Play Next'
  • Wait a few seconds and change the Logging level back to Info.
  • From the log, look for a line containing 'GET /minimserver/*/.... HTTP/1.1'
  • Stop playback in the WHA and clear the queue
Repeat the above steps with the same track in Legacy mode.

Both URLs should be exactly the same.
