@WiiM Team, was this a requested feature? I don't use any EQ features, and I find this new addition quite annoying, as it clutters up the playback screen on my iPhone, and is too close to the playback queue button, and often ends up being pressed unintentionally when trying to select the playback queue.

I think that there should be an app setting added to remove this unwanted "feature", so that those who don't want it aren't stuck with it.

I vaguely recall it being directly requested, although it maybe also arose from others complaining it wasn’t evident where to quickly access the EQ settings. I don’t see it as an impediment on my iPad screen, but can imagine it might be on a phone.

On the iPad screen, the new "feature" is in a totally different place, so doesn't actually get in the way, but for an unnecessary feature, there should be an option to not show it at all.

@WiiM Team should move the volume bar up to make more room below it and the progress bar down to make room for two lines with artist name and album name on each.

There is wasted space on the top and sides and too little space in areas where you need to touch it.

On a small phone screen the current layout is not easy to use. This is true for both iOS and Android.

Yes, that might be better, but I would still like the option not so show this unnecessary new feature at all.

We could really do with updated docs on Room Correction (now RoomFit) - Cut-Only Mode, Built-in Mic Compensation, how to use Moving Mic measurement, what does it mean RC and EQ working together, probably more...? Unless I missed it, couldn't find anything on these topics in the help?

Yes. User manuals and FAQ is lacking behind. For a consumer product that should be the first thing to update.

I'm on the Wiim Ultra beta with separate room correction and EQ, now with this app update, that seems to be gone. My EQs are still there, but all the room corrections I did are hidden or gone.

What happens if you revert to public firmware?

Maybe a firmware update will come soon and this feature will be officially added.

Hi @Kidprofessor

Sorry for the inconvenience caused! The latest app version requires the latest firmware to support both Room Correction and EQ. We will roll out a new beta firmware shortly, followed by the official firmware release in a few days.
