Hi!
"supports Plex Server access over WAN" - what does this mean?

Can wiim connect to a Plex Server on another network?

Yep! E.g. when switching from a physical input to the network input without selecting any particular service.

I have never understood why you should be able to select the network input, as if it was another physical input. You will always have to select the network source anyway.

Is there some secret functionality I have missed by selecting the WiFi/Ethernet/Network input in the Browse page?

None that I'm aware of (other than you can be sure that no physical input is currently selected). :)

If for example, I currently have line-in selected I can use that button to de-select it. There are other ways of achieving that but I see no issue with it appearing as an input source.
And I don't see an immediate benefit of not showing the Streaming input.

Plex implementation seems to have improved a lot. From what I can tell from playing around with it a little, the search function is now finally working in a way that is actually usable.

I‘m on IOS 26.1 and the WHA has already rather randomly for three or four times during about 20 minutes of use.

@WiiM Support Some thoughts about the "More" page in this App release.

1000005413.jpg

"App Version": The subpage should include the latest release notes. Else it doesn't have much purpose.

"Firmware Updates": What is the purpose of this really? The update check is available on each device page and new versions are announced anyway.

"FAQ": The text should be changed to "Knowledge Base" or "Help Center" and it should reference a short index with detailed sub-indexes. The current overview is too long and not easy to navigate.

"Feedback": Text should be changed to "Feedback and Tickets".

"User Manual": This is "User Manuals" (plural) and shall reference the latest updates of the manuals else delivered as a paper copy with the products.

"Release notes": The referenced page could include the release version alone with the product name. The WiiM Sound is missing here.

"Roadmap": Shall be removed, as it is outdated.

"Shop": Should be removed or based on location, as not all countries are supported by Amazon.

"WiiM Forum": Should be grouped with the FAQ, Feedback section.

Some valid points. The app would benefit from being tidied up a little.

This is my go-to page when checking for new firmware updates. It scans all my devices at once, and even more conveniently, updates firmware in parallel. It would be even more useful if selecting a device on this page took you to that device’s settings page.

WiiM Sound shows for me.

I’m happy with the rest of that page as it is.

Maybe you are as a superuser ;) but it looks like many new users don't know what is available in e.g. Feedback or FAQ.
Fair enough, but I’m naturally the type of person who goes thru every option in an app to see what’s there and also reads any manual available. Many seem too lazy(?) to do even the latter…
