No, I believe normalization is disabled in Spotify connect. I am not trying to pick a fight with you.

I guess there are a few that would, but I know you’d be way down at the end of that list

Thanks for clarifying - it’ll be interesting to see if WiiM can overcome that as it sounds as if Spotify Connect might not be sending the replaygain settings required

Is it possible that a firmware update lowers distortion in playback? Is it me or do you think that the sound quality is better with this update? I am not using EQ just a -3db pre gain.

We apologize for the misunderstanding. Release notes for the WiiM Pro Plus will be provided for better clarity.

The WiiM Pro Plus features enhanced playback capabilities and resolves previous playback issues.

Regarding the Qobuz enhancements, these are not included in the latest update. We are currently working on integrating this feature into the WiiM Pro Plus and testing it.

For the Google Cast upgrade, it applies exclusively to Google Cast 2.0 (Castlite). The WiiM Pro Plus uses Google Cast version 1.56.

No from here. The other is 100% volume fixed , 200mv , disabled all services and lights and fade in out etc

How do you activate the independent L/R room correction? I’m not seeing anything in the rc settings so I’m guessing it must be somewhere else

I don't know where the differences are with the fact of realizing it at the limiter level... where did you compare?
(are you attacking an old preamp with very high gain? 200mv and -3db is not a very classic situation or or we can be in the 70s-80, beginning 90s)

Just start the process. It will ask you what mode to use before the actual measurements begin.

I don’t use the wiim dac . I use optical out . However I noticed that even with full signal it is not harsh as before. Actually for the first time ?!
