Roadmap mentions Group selection as part of Smart Presets but no mention in these release notes or in the Smart Preset FAQ. Hope this does come soon, my main hope for Smart Presets was to configure one-click, app-free commands to group/ungroup devices with the remote or Ultra screen
Hi SuperPele, Team

The group selection feature will be available in the next version. We're releasing it to a broader audience to gather additional feedback and further refine this functionality. Please note that this feature is still a work in progress, and we truly value your insights. We look forward to hearing about your experience and any suggestions you may have to help us improve!

My Wiim Home is downloading update for last 30 minutes and still progress 0%
while my ultra shows "Starting firmware update..."
Should I restart it or wait an hour or so?

If you reboot the WiiM app, can start the update from the beginning again?

Please do not close the WiiM app while the update.

Ok. I unplugged and plugged ethernet cable and it started downloading and now preparation phase 🤞

Got the update this morning and really like the additional preset functionallity like output routing and shuffle activation!

Have you got app version 3.10 already?
Yesterday my hardware unit said "no update" - but today there was something for the Ultra.

Software says 3.0.9.241xxx in the Wiim settings but i would say that some options wasnt there before... Maybe iam wrong or some options are even available with this version as well.

Last update for ultra broke the trigger out control when using USB. I have my ultra connected to my Emotiva XDA-2 DAC using USB. The Wiim trigger out is connected to the Emotiva trigger in. When I turn off my Wiim Ultra, the emotiva powers off, but wiim powers on again triggering the DAC back on.
That also happens when Wiim tries to stand by automatically. They are in an infinite loop of standing by and turning on again.

Update: it looks like when my DAC turns off, Wiim is detecting that as a turn on signal through the USB, turning itself back on and turning the DAC back on through the trigger out.
If I turn the DAC off manually first, and then Wiim goes to the stand by process and the problem doesn't occur.

Just got the firmware update but guessing I cannot do anything until the home app is updated
Apple taking it’s time making it available sigh

I moved my sub out from the amp to the WiiM (I have an external DAC on the WiiM USB out) and tried room correction and it was horrible.

Not sure what I'm doing wrong. I have KEF LS50 speakers good to about 80Hz and a matching KEF KC65 sub which should provide 20-80 flat.

I used a iPad Mini and will next try my iPhone instead.

It almost looks like the low pass filter on the sub itself is set around 40Hz so there is a gap between the sub and the LS50s.

I would strongly urge you to get a used Umik1 (or borrow) and use it to perform the measurement, or even better, get one and download the ”housecurve” app, and measure there, then ”simultaniously” apply PEQ values in the Wiim app and watch your measurements improve.

Point being you can see the changes ”live” and correct for discrepancies, it saves time and is more accurate. (According to me)
