Yes, different EQ can be set for each preset. Is it possible to set phono to preset with different EQ, like preset 1 phono with EQ of rock and preset 2 phono with EQ of electonica.
Agreed. I have a UMik1 and REW ....and will do that next.....Roon and JRiver can take the REW convolution zip files directly but for Tidal, etc, I'd have to input the EQ manually.I would strongly urge you to get a used Umik1 (or borrow) and use it to perform the measurement, or even better, get one and download the ”housecurve” app, and measure there, then ”simultaniously” apply PEQ values in the Wiim app and watch your measurements improve.
Point being you can see the changes ”live” and correct for discrepancies, it saves time and is more accurate. (According to me)
How would I add phono as a presetYes, different EQ can be set for each preset.
No...the sub is manual and the crossover is over 120.It almost looks like the low pass filter on the sub itself is set around 40Hz so there is a gap between the sub and the LS50s.
I think we need to update the WiiM app, 3.0.9 doesn't seem to do it yet.How would I add phono as a preset
AHH ok, my ultras firmware updates this morning but no app update as yet. So you think adding phono as a preset will be available after the update. I would like to set presents for phono with different EQs and hopefully be able to rename those preset by EQ nameI think we need to update the WiiM app, 3.0.9 doesn't seem to do it yet

Hi Burnside,Disappointed that there’s no option to set/unset fixed volume or sub use in Smart Presets that many have expressed a desire for.
Also, some will see tying these configuration changes to content playback as less than optimal. For them, could I suggest that they set up a “silent” playlist on Spotify (even Spotify free) with the track “Silent Track” by Silent Track, set this as a preset and set a low duration under its smart preset settings?
Sounds exactly what I'm looking forThe team said.

With the latest app(Version 3.1.0) update, you can now choose between Follow Current Volume and Set Custom Volume...
What do you see if you do room correction without the sub? What do you mean "the sub is manual"? What is your crossover setting in the WiiM app subwoofer settings?No...the sub is manual and the crossover is over 120.
I'm wondering if we need the version 3.1 APP. I have 3.09What do you see if you do room correction without the sub? What do you mean "the sub is manual"? What is your crossover setting in the WiiM app subwoofer settings?
Shouldn't be necessary.I'm wondering if we need the version 3.1 APP. I have 3.09
They say app version 3.1 is required for smart presets.I occour some problems with saving the presets, especially the Volume setting won't be saved as desired... It seems like "Follow actual Volume" wont be stored on vtuner radio presets
Same issue with a Topping D70 Pro Sabre via USB also using the trigger. It was working fine before the firmware update.Last update for ultra broke the trigger out control when using USB. I have my ultra connected to my Emotiva XDA-2 DAC using USB. The Wiim trigger out is connected to the Emotiva trigger in. When I turn off my Wiim Ultra, the emotiva powers off, but wiim powers on again triggering the DAC back on.
That also happens when Wiim tries to stand by automatically. They are in an infinite loop of standing by and turning on again.
Update: it looks like when my DAC turns off, Wiim is detecting that as a turn on signal through the USB, turning itself back on and turning the DAC back on through the trigger out.
If I turn the DAC off manually first, and then Wiim goes to the stand by process and the problem doesn't occur.
