It probably isn't, since they mention standby mode.
So if wiim is not in standby and we are listening radio for example,
and someone turns on tv will tv see wiim and not use tv speakers since wiim is not in standby?
It should never see wiim if HDMI input is not selected
We will see.

In such a case, it would be better to turn off WiiM and then turn on the TV.

I am having major audio sync problems ever since the latest updates, and I have not experimented with any Dolby settings or anything like that. Am I the only one?

I also have audio sync issues on my Amp Pro. The issue temporarily goes away if I reboot the Amp Pro, but unfortunately it comes back afer a while.
I'd suggest to open a support ticket.
