What's New:

1. New Radio Widget: Quickly select and play a radio station directly from the screen.
2. Audio Input Management: Choose which audio inputs to display and switch between them easily.
3. Improved Group Playback Sync: Fixed synchronization issues that occurred after applying subwoofer and main speaker delay calibration.
4. Enhanced DSD Playback: Resolved stuttering during multi-channel DSD file playback for smoother high-res listening.
5. Group Mute/Unmute via Master Device: Instantly mute or unmute the entire speaker group directly from the master device for seamless group control.
6. Device Discovery Enhancements: Improved stability and connectivity for WiiM Home, Spotify and TIDAL apps.
7. Knob Volume Step: Adjust the volume step when rotating the knob (requires the upcoming app update).

Bug Fixes:

1. A/V Sync Optimization: Enhanced audio/video synchronization for HDMI ARC to improve lip-sync accuracy.
2. Plex Playback Fix: Resolved playback failure when Secure Connections is set to "Required".
3. Standby Mode Fix: Resolved an issue preventing the device from entering standby mode when in follower mode.
4. TIDAL Connect Fix: Addressed the issue of track skipping delay and corrected track duration when using the HTTP API.
5. General Performance: Stability improvements and behind-the-scenes optimizations.

Nice set of new features!

But please, can you do something about the styling of the main menu screen? Or just give us the option for different themes (as was promised very early on)

Also requested a dozen times: a solid black background for the playback-screen with full screen album art.

No HDMI CEC fix?

Something has changed but not for the better.

With this settings the WiiM don't turn on from standby anymore, when TV is turned on (and not already outputs to ARC).



With "Automatically output audio to WiiM when TV is on" disabled, the WiiM is however no longer turning on. This is correct and the opposite behaviour of before.

Selecting TV as input or changing to ARC on the TV do also correctly turn the WiiM on, on TV input and ARC output.

It is however not possible to change the TV back to internal speakers by selecting another input on the WiiM. That should be possible with the "Automatically output audio to WiiM when TV is on" disabled but not when enabled. This did work before.

So some changes but still not fully fixed.

You can access it on the home page on the Ultra screen.

The name "widget" is a bit misleading I think. It is just menu page on the Ultra screen.

It do however not contain anything useful. At least not in my country with my setup.

(And the background of the home page is still ugly and not matching the rest of the look and feel.)

Well, for us who want to use manually hdmi arc this firmware is even worse then previous versions, my tv now never uses internal speakers, so, step backwards for now.

Strange, as my TV now (nearly) behaves as expected when "Automatically output audio to WiiM when TV is on" is disabled.

Only the switch back to internal speakers when TV input is no longer selected, is not yet fixed. It did work before the recent changes.

Unfortunately I think @WiiM Team still misunderstands how it shall work in the two cases of the "Automatically output audio to WiiM when TV is on" setting.

Similar thing for me...

"Local Radio" is empty. "Top iHeartRadio Stations" is empty.

Basically useless... Let me decide what radio stations I want in the "Widget", not what Wiim thinks I want!

The Wiim hardware is great BUT the UI/UX is very poor!
