WiiM Ultra Firmware v5.2.726135 Update - Aug 13, 2025

What's New:

1. YouTube Music: Native, seamless streaming support (requires the upcoming app version 3.3.1).
2. Soundtrack SDK Upgrade: Under-the-hood improvements for a smoother, more consistent listening experience.

Bug Fixes:

1. Bluetooth Output: Fixed a no-audio issue after switching outputs.
2. NAS & USB Playback: Playback now correctly restarts from the beginning after the last track finishes.
3. Playback Speed: Resolved rare cases where songs played at accelerated speed.
4. Dolby Digital: Corrected low volume when playing Dolby Digital content.

same hear. just out of curiosity i have tried it. premium account, credentials accepted, the ui looks very similar to qobuz and tidal, new alison goldfrapp album selected, pressed play: no sound. seems to be a bit more work for developers

I am trying it out now and it plays fine

It is very nice to be able to press the Good button on the playback screen!


At the moment, it is much faster and easier to use than Amazon music

I don’t have a YouTube premium account, so I’m unable to try the WiiM YouTube Music integration.

I do have a standard YouTube account, but don’t feel that a premium account would offer me much.

Doesn't play any music for me either.
Home App seems to be working correctly, get all the tracks and stuff I would get in YTM direct.
Done all the usual reboots of WiiM and phone, still no music.
The problem as I see it is that clicking on YTM in the home app is not turning the Ultra out of the standby mode, It just shows the standby screen of the clock.

@WiiM Support @WiiM Team Why do some get firmware update earlier and some later? Is it not possible to make it available to everyone at the same time? That would be better in my opinion. The application is updated at the same time for all users (I mean version in the App Store & Google Play).

They do that in waves, in case some critical bugs were found, so they can stop the update!

Unfortunately, the library cannot be sorted. Also, the favourites tab only shows recent played. Will these be added in the future?

We have found that if you have a bad hair day on the release date you’ll be at the end of the line. If on the other hand you should be absolutely smashing it’s there before you read about it.
