So still no HDMI CEC fix  I may have to keep my cable disconnect.

I have 2 alarms but could use many more Presets.

No USB power management options, no dynamic loudness, no LFE downmix.

First one was mentioned many times on this forum, second and third could be “nice to haves” but probably we won’t see them on current devices which is pity.

What about the new Sound Profile feature highlighted in September?

Thread 'WiiM Help Center Highlights - September 2025' https://forum.wiimhome.com/threads/wiim-help-center-highlights-september-2025.8255/

I would have expected it to be included in the October release.

Sounds like a bunch of useful changes to the better.

Not surprised to find that meeting everybody's expectations is still not possible. :)
But fixing a bug that was introduced in the beginning of the year is still something I would expect to happen.

The HDMI CEC issue is an easy fix and it has worked before. Why so much resistance?

Not this time either :(

Sound Profiles? Another database manipulation with potential for more bugs.

Yes, all manner of features/settings/adjustments can be implemented ad nauseum. But why? Basic simplicity has its value too.

It solves some few issues/wishes but yes, I don't think the best implementation, as described in the FAQ, is the correct one. It doesn't fit the rest.

My question was more why it was announced and documented but not included in the release a month later.
