Doesn't look like it. Ideally a stereo pair should be treated as a single device across the board.

I agree. That’s exactly why I thought it could be integrated into a surround setup as a single device (just like the WiiM Amp).
From what I’ve heard from everyone, it seems to me that a stereo pair is a strange entity—neither a group nor a single device.
Hopefully resolved with future updates.
I was hoping this would behave like Sonos in that once you set up a stereo pair, the two are essentially joined as one. From memory I don't even think there's an option to select an individual speaker once they're paired on Sonos.
