Nice. If this is correct it could the right one for complementing my 2.1 system and bring 5(4).1 audio from HDMI-connected TVs. I bought and tested two WiiM Sound speakers and they work pretty well for movies with 5.1 sound and spatial music from Apple Music. Will return them because of high price, inconvenient screen and ultrasensitive touchpanel making it almost impossible to turn off the speakers.Found this whilst searching for any information about the lite version, looks like it will be battery powered and cost £229

That‘s the goal of AI.Hmmm.... Looks pretty authentic....
That‘s the goal of AI.
I‘d be just ridiculous to get this sort of spec from outside of WiiM.
Don‘t get me wrong. I‘d love to have those. But it‘s just too good to believeI dont think that a serious retailer is listing "fakes".
Maybe they are a little early by mistake - those things happen.
The data sheet looks very authentic to me even when looking at the specs... A battery powered speaker would be heavier for example - and would cost problably more.
The shop also listed a stereo pair for 499€ by the way.

We will see - but a Lite Version with those specs and price would make sense for me.
I would prefer a battery powered version personally - but i dont think that we are gonna see this in a "Lite" version.
Posted on the WiiM facebook page almost an hour ago - I was waiting on @RyanWithWiiM to announce it here before saying anything, but as you've stolen his thunder, here's the blog page https://www.blog.wiimhome.com/post/introducing-wiim-sound-lite-hi-res-audio-in-a-minimalist-designThe WiiM Sound Lite smart speaker arrives with no screen or remote, but a lower price | What Hi-Fi? https://share.google/UwyZwDmM9jrsEKQUL
I see they still call LMS Logitech Media Server even in a new blog announcement. They have been told about the new name countless times and I believe they have even been provided with the new logo but still they persistPosted on the WiiM facebook page almost an hour ago - I was waiting on @RyanWithWiiM to announce it here before saying anything, but as you've stolen his thunder, here's the blog page https://www.blog.wiimhome.com/post/introducing-wiim-sound-lite-hi-res-audio-in-a-minimalist-design
