Everything about Wiim Sound Lite

Since when did 2.5kg become "Handy for carrying around and can fit in any type of bag"?

The specs appear to be copied from the WiiM Sound spec sheet. How does one remove a small screen, add a battery and keep the weight identical to the WiiM Sound?

Personally wouldn't trust that info - looks cobbled together from another product description tbh

Found this whilst searching for any information about the lite version, looks like it will be battery powered and cost £229

Looking at the technical specifications for the Ultra at that shop, it's nonsense. 🤔😂

AirPlay 2
Power: USB-C (5V/1A)
Analogue Input (ADC) : Fixed 192k, 24bit

Nice. If this is correct it could the right one for complementing my 2.1 system and bring 5(4).1 audio from HDMI-connected TVs. I bought and tested two WiiM Sound speakers and they work pretty well for movies with 5.1 sound and spatial music from Apple Music. Will return them because of high price, inconvenient screen and ultrasensitive touchpanel making it almost impossible to turn off the speakers.

Seems Like a european Distributor listed the Wiim Sound Lite for 269€

There is also an additional 7 Pages PDF to Download with information and Specs in english.

It seems like the only difference is the missing display and no included Remote Control.

That‘s the goal of AI.
I‘d be just ridiculous to get this sort of spec from outside of WiiM.

I dont think that a serious retailer is listing "fakes".
Maybe they are a little early by mistake - those things happen.

The data sheet looks very authentic to me even when looking at the specs... A battery powered speaker would be heavier for example - and would cost problably more.

The shop also listed a stereo pair for 499€ by the way.

We will see - but a Lite Version with those specs and price would make sense for me.

I would prefer a battery powered version personally - but i dont think that we are gonna see this in a "Lite" version.

Don‘t get me wrong. I‘d love to have those. But it‘s just too good to believe🤣.
