Mine has been working flawlessly ever since I reset the HDMI Arc port by plugging in different device temporarily and by switching to another HDMI cable.
I can confirm this is the real solution. Absolutely nothing worked, so I contacted support and they ran my serial, confirmed the hardware version, and sent me another unit; the replacement works flawlessly with my LG B4, specifically turning on and off via HDMI ARC and the LG remote controlling the volume of the WIIM.
