Pricing & Availability

WiiM Sound launches in Q3 2025 on Amazon and select retailers. Stay tuned for pricing details, we'll announce them when the product becomes available. Full details at www.wiimhome.com.

I'd not read the specs, that looks much larger than I first thought.

Ah, and there's the stand with the two screw holes you'd guessed at. (y)

The screen is a nice touch. It looks big enough to see the clock or artwork across the room. Not big enough to see the menus unless you're up close, but then you'd need to be to use the touchscreen, unless you have long arms.

Great news.. definitely going to buy one😮😮
Als very interested in the wiim sub..😊👌
Woon build the speakers by themselves? Or collab with audio pro?

With 24/192 support does that imply that multi-speaker syncing will work up to 24/192? Or does syncing fall back to the current 48Khz? It would be nice to have the long discussed hi rez syncing.

I've promised myself one of these once available, if the price isn't too prohibitive in Australia. Looking forward to learning more about the WiiM Sound once more details are available.

I’d imagine it’ll fall back to 48khz which for speakers of this size is probably fine as I’d think you’d be hard pushed to notice the difference between that and 24/192 (perhaps even on much better gear). Having said that, hi res multi room has been on the roadmap for a long time.

:devilish:
Are you suggesting the wiim sound may not be resolving enough? :ROFLMAO:

I know a lot of people want 192 multiroom, but for me I'd rather it work at 48 than potentially skip / have sync issues at 192.
I admit to being surprised it entered the roadmap at all, but as that's really just a guide of things being looked at I guess it's good that it seems to at least be being considered.

Obviously having a system that skipped is not desirable. I assume if they implemented hi rez multiroom it would work correctly.

I agree that hi rez on this speaker my not matter but it may be synced to devices in other rooms where hi rez is more appropriate. I just keep hoping that I can play my hi rez files to my main system when synced without downsampling.

By the way, Wiim is the one touting the 24/192 capability. That's why I thought they might actually do hi rez multiroom, but I am not holding my breath.

Yeah, I guess it'll have the same or similar Linkplay module to what's in the Pro so should handle hi res playback OK, it's whether hi res for multi room will be supported in general. I also hope they've fixed the issue that I have in the WiiM Edition A10 which also advertises 24/192 - while that plays 24/192 OK from my UPNP server, I get no better than 24/48 from Amazon or CD quality from Qobuz...

They don’t even post firmware update notes in the forums for the AudioPro collab speakers.

Maybe they should have just never released them?
My Edifier MS50A never seems to get updates, so it is definitely behind my WiiM Home system in terms of features and bug fixes.

Before rushing off, I'll listen to this little active speaker a bit...no?

;-)

If possible, of course, along with researching specs, reviews and feedback/advice from those more knowledgeable than myself. I did that before buying my first WiiM product. :)
