I do wish that they would at least give us the prices, as I want to get the speakers for family members and myself for Christmas.
Also, a quick question, are there going to be stands and wall brackets available at launch?

A quick question, for anyone knows.

I’m thinking of gifting one of these to my daughter, if it’s out in time for her birthday.

She currently has something ‘similar’, but it’s tiny, and little more than a toy. What she likes is that she can play her music on her phone, connect to the speaker via Bluetooth, and her music comes out of the speaker.

Would she be able to use this speaker in the same way? Or would she have to learn to use the WiiM Home app?

If it needs an initial set up, obviously I can do that for her. But after that, can she just use it as a Bluetooth speaker, without opening the WiiM Home app every time she wanted to play music?

I think ultimately she’d get to use all WiiM’s bells and whistles, but starting from scratch, it might put her off a bit.

WiiM sound can work as the standard Bluetooth speaker without using the WiiM Home App.

Living in a smaller space, it would be great if these could be attached to the wall or a stand minimum. Also, if using these as part of a movie setup, it would just be too many speakers on stands. As for family, if one is put in the kitchen for them, it would be great if this were not in a corner, but again, with a wall bracket, you could take it off the surface.

Is it 230v 50hz compatible if bought in US? I ordered because 2 left, just hope it is, no info on voltage on Amazon or Wiim site that I can see, can send back if not...

You will just need a different power cord. The built-in power supply is universal.

It would be good to have USB input for music files, (or inbuilt flash drive) this is useful also if you are using it as a bedroom alarm clock etc.

The only speakers that I know have this feature is the Denon Home series
I currently own the home 250 and have a 2tb hard drive plugged into it and a WiiM mini
It also has Qobuz connect as well

It should be able to access the usb drive attached to another compatible WiiM device on the network though.
