If I were in WiiM‘s shoes I wouldn‘t publish such a roadmap at all. All it does is raise expectations and give hints to competitors.
Well, it's certain you're not in WiiM's position. 😂
The roadmap I mentioned primarily refers to WiiM's future outlook and direction.

I received my WiiM Sound on Sunday - problem.

When a track is playing, doesn't matter which source Spotify, Squeezelite, line in, Bluetooth, there's a definite underlying rumble or cross-talk noise. This is most noticeable at low volumes, which is how I listen in this location 99% of the time.

I've tried turning off EQ, RoomFit and eveything else I can think of, it makes no difference.

The noise stops between tracks, and when I stop or pause a track, it's just apparent when a track is playing.

Any advice?

(Otherwise, it's a very nice unit).

That's an odd one. I haven't noticed that on my unit, but we'd love to take a closer look. Please, please submit feedback in the app so that the team can check out the logs and look into it with you!

Yeah, rather naive and clearly hasn't come across the WiiM ecosystem nor is aware of the features a WiiM streamer/speaker can offer
I did laugh when the person was disappointed that there were no handles on the WiiM Sound. And them setting it up sounded like complete agony.

Hey everyone! I'm sitting down with the product manager for WiiM Sound soon to ask questions for you all. I want to know what you'd like to learn regarding the WiiM Sound or maybe other WiiM related topics, so please share your questions with us! We can ask about design theory, setup capabilities, or other topics. I can't promise answers, but we'll try to get to them all. Feel free to post them here or send them to me in private.
My questions:
Why did you opt for a dual tweeter setup?
And what about the 100watts power rating. How was that measured? (Most competitors end up with 20watts)

The Sound is likely to compete with the Sonos Era 100, which is meant to have "spacial sound". The Era 100 says that "Two angled tweeters create a crisp and accurate high frequency response and stereo separation." Wiim is probably trying to do the same.

Good question about the wattage. The spec sheets say that the 100 watts is peak. That really should be reported as RMS. In any case, this seems like a lot of power for such small drivers. Maybe the wattage is what the power chips can do, but I would question whether 100 watts is ever delivered to the drivers.

My Wiim sound arrived on Saturday, set up was a breeze. Coming from an echo & echo sub set up in the kitchen, the sound if fairy impressive, looks neater, takes less room, and they sound is very impressive for a small unit. Plays well when in a group with a fairly large system in the next room. Easy to use with pre-sets. So far so very good.

Think mine will arrive from richer sounds in the next 2 days so I can hopefully compare then!
Good luck! :)

We will replace your device with a new one.

Could you provide us with your order details and complete shipping address?

I imagine they're just going through checklists of things they think people want to read, a lot of vine reviewers seem to do that as it helps them pad out length and get more "helpful" votes. Wild that £299 speakers are just sent to people that just sell it on eBay 6 months later
