UPnP Cast?

I think "Server status" shows the same info like the "Information" tab with the old skin. I'll give it a try when I get home & check permissions!
Before you go any further try the currently released version of UPnP/DLNA Bridge which is 1.82.2. It works with gapless!!

I and others are on the dev version only because this briefly became the released version at about the time that my WiiM arrived.

Uninstall what you have.
Remove the dev repo from the bottom of the Plugins page.
Restart LMS
UPnP/DLNA Bridge will re-appear in 3rd Party Plugins (perhaps not for a few minutes)
Install
You should get 1.82.2
Try DSOTM and you will know after 01:15 whether it plays gapless. Mine does.

My settings are below. The only non Common setting for me is Max sample rate but that is because my CD Receiver is 24/96 only.

I am pretty sure the above will sort the problem and give you gapless playback using LMS.

The things that don't work 100% with the Brideg (any version) are Replay Gain, Smart Crossfade and metadata push to the WiiM app in some cases. If WiiM add an instance of squeezelite to the firmware then the first two would instantly get fixed. The metadata in the app would probably cease to work completely but if you were using with LMS you would have Material on your phone and would use that instead - its better anyway.

If you haven't installed already then the following LMS plugins are recommended

Material skin
Music & Artist Information - bios, reviews and lyrics get added to Material
Qobuz/Tidal/Deezer/Spotify
Last Mix - works in conjunction with Don't Stop The Music and LastFM to create focused radio type playlists from local music and online based on what you were playing
Radio Paradise
Radio Now Playing
BBC Sounds
What Was That Tune

UPnP/DLNA Media Interface - this exposes LMS music store to UPnP/DLNA devices in the same way that switching on DLNA in Plex does. Not really of much use with WiiM due to the limitations of the app but might be of use to other UPnP players with someting like mConnect as the controller. However it has been known for certain UPnP devices (older smart TVs) to flood the network and crash the LMS server as a result. Be warned.

Just a note for those using LMS: it's on WiiM's roadmap for the Pro to support squeezelite player functionality. Though they haven't yet indicated when exactly they expect to provide that (ditto for the SMB support that was mentioned earlier in this thread).

That roadmap looks pretty meaningless. Four of the "Updates to be released by..." entries have passed their dates, and the long "Future Updates" list has no indication of when. More like a faulty satnav?

I've repeated my LMS tests after 2.1.13 bridge update. FLAC and WAV files work fine, but OGG and MP3 ones are broken - no advance to the next track.

Can you confirm that FLAC/WAV gapless still works?
Can you repeat post this here - https://forums.slimdevices.com/foru...ers-with-lms-squeeze2upnp/page262#post1629721

I made the mistake to install the update as well... Even though I had just got everything working in v1.82.2. I figured, since this new v2.1.13 was now part of the stable updates, there would be no issues :')

It seems to really depend on which album i'm playing.. not the actual file type (just all flac)

I’ve got 2 installs of LMS . One with 2.1.11 and one with 2.1.13. The former works pretty much perfectly but the latter doesn’t at all.
I’ll be sending in comparison logs to the developer next week.
