WiiM Home App v3.2.4 Update – Jun 19, 2025

What’s New:

1. Playback Screen Styles: Added 3 new styles with large titles on device displays.
2. Full Track Titles (iOS): Now shown for KKBox, NAS, USB, Samba, Local Music, and Qobuz.
3. Serviio Support: Improved media browsing via NAS indexing.
4. Preset/Alarm Limit: Increased to 32 (requires upcoming firmware update).
5. TIDAL Enhancements: Added filters for "My Tracks" by artist/album and support for adding full albums to playlists.
6. Parametric EQ Update: Added Low-Pass and High-Pass filters to the 10-band PEQ (firmware update required).
7. USB Indexing: Estimated scan time now shown during USB content indexing.
8. App Preferences (iOS): Option to keep screen always on.

Bug Fixes:

1. Fixed Korean translation issues.
2. Resolved Dolby 5.1 channel display bug (iOS).
3. Fixed crashes and playback issues related to MinimServer indexing and IP changes.
4. General stability and performance improvements.

Yes it does that. Not a good thing to change OS user settings, IMO.

I don't see the problem? Could make total sense for specific setups or could just be what some people prefer. There's many apps out there offering this option.

None of the available playback screens shows the album name, though. (Edit: Read below for the reason ...) It's not available with all kinds of music services (in particular Internet radio) so including the album title would mean reserving space for something that's regularly missing. It's all doable, but needs more logic impemented to make sense.

Minimalism is the only option that lets me actually read anything from my listening position, so it's easily my new favourite.

I'm not so much into the screens with the playback controls being permanently displayed, but desktop users might appreciate these. Would be nice to have at least one more option with no playback controls but bigger fonts and a small cover.

Has the MMM method been revised so that it can take the full measurement from the pink noise rather than mostly from the single point sweep?

Must be a feature of the new firmware then. I didn't get it yet. Bad hair day.

Edit:
And yes, in this case I would expect the Minimalism screen to behave just like the others as well.

Search for the WiiM Home app. It might allow you to update from there. My update didn't appear in the normal update list.

Nice release.

I'm wondering that if in a future version we can get the option to re-order the source buttons? For instance, I don't ever use Bluetooth but have to scroll past it to get to line in or USB. Not a huge deal, but would make using the app a bit quicker.
