WiiM Home App v3.3.5 Update – Sep 16, 2025

Please review the app update release notes below. If you encounter any issues, feel free to reach out to us.

What’s New:

1. Audio Inputs: Live plugged-in status and signal detection for quicker setup.
2. [iOS] TIDAL Browsing: Toggle Grid or List views for albums, artists, and playlists.
3. "Now Playing" Screen: Optimized layout for a cleaner fit across all phone sizes.
4. VU Meter: New display option for a more visual playback experience.
5. RoomFit™: View raw vs. corrected frequency curves, rotate the screen during recording, and evaluate adjustments instantly.
6. Queue (Beta): Smoother playback from NAS/USB/Samba, better track‑order retention when shuffling, and faster queue performance.
7. WiiM Sound: Customize standby wallpaper and playback style on WiiM Sound devices.

Bug Fixes:

1. [Android] Volume Slider (Xiaomi): Tap-to-step (±1) now works as expected.
2. [iOS] LMS Artwork: Correct artwork now displays for LMS content.

I noticed that my list of Open Network Streams is empty on my iPad whereas it is complete on my iPhone. Shouldn’t it follow from one device that the other? @WiiM Team

Thanks @WiiM Team updated today, but still no fix for the EQ shortcut in Landscape Mode on Android devices. Not a huge issue, but I'm curious if you are still planning to fix this?

5. RoomFit™: View raw vs. corrected frequency curves, rotate the screen during recording, and evaluate adjustments instantly.

I'm so glad to see the RoomFit profile evaluation functionality is back. I have tested it a bit and it appears to be working correctly.

It is a personal complaint that the screen rotates during measurement even when MMM is switched off! It makes it difficult to take screenshots.

This Evaluation function can reflect EQ.

And on the PEQ screen, the order of the items has been changed so that only the PEQ currently in use is displayed.

So far so good 😄
Thank you Team.

The option to evaluate the RoomFit profiles is great.

I have used it to check the used profile in different listening positions and have done a few manual changes. Now it sounds even better.

It's important to note that the current EQ settings are included in the evaluation. That is good but should be highlighted.

The update removed my Audio Pro 28.
Till yesterday it worked very well for my WiiM Amp Pro together with the Audio Pro.
Reconnection is not possible.

Have you already tried rebooting the device or deleting the app cache (or reinstalling it)?

Many thanks for fixing the volume slider tap issue on HyperOS devices and for finally bringing the RoomFit evaluation into the GA code stream!

Great work!

I noticed that as well, can’t see any entries for open window stream for any of my devices on my ipad. Not seeing any on my Android app either

And the new audio pro w app won’t connect to any of my WiiM devices either…

Thanks for bug fix #2 - been a longstanding and often reported bug for me on my iPad (even though the offshoot audio pro app displayed it ok…)

Also, I just installed iPadOS 26 - any one find that you can only narrow the size of the WiiM home app window but not shorten it?

app cache deleted, app not reinstalled yet
I'm not sure if I loose all settings.
Android Audio pro app still works for both but less comfortable than WiiM.

Maybe the LinkPlay company is no longer associated with WiiM and have moved to Audio Pro?

So there is now competition between them and then they have removed the possibility to link them together.

Just a guess.

From @Burnside's post #10, this is just my guess, but it may be that the new WiiM app may have ended support for non-WiiM edition AudioPro speakers.

Please submit a ticket via the feedback section of the WiiM app, and then ask them.

Unfortunately I'm seeing what seems to be a bug with this functionality, at least with my WiiM Amp Ultra.

When I run the "Evaluate" function for one of my RoomFit profiles with my UMIK-1 the result page was blank:

Then I tried with the built-in phone mic and that worked OK (notice the 8kHz resonance of the phone mic).

Retrying with UMIK-1 now the page isn't blank, but it shows the phone mic response (notice the 8kHz resonance again, the whole picture is identical actually) - which is not correct.

So I suspected the issue might perhaps be with the external mic cal file, so I reloaded it.
Still every time I run the "Evaluate" function I get the same identical result - regardless if I use the phone built-in mic, UMIK-1 or if I change EQ - the result page always shows the exact same picture.

I'll open a support ticket and refer to this post.

EDIT: Ticket #542370 opened.

Very unlikely - WiiM are the retail arm of Linkplay. As a well established systems integrator, Linkplay licence their SoC modules and firmware to many third parties, including audio pro. That’s not to say they couldn’t have taken a commercial decision to divorce WiiM from other Linkplay licencees but I see that as extremely unlikely as interworking is at the core of their business.

A bit premature to be that pessimistic in my opinion…

At least with Squeezelite they all work with Lyrion 😂

Thank you for the proposal.

WiiM Support(Ethan) replied very fast👍
Thank you for reaching out. The latest version of the WiiM Home app filters out AudioPro devices.
We will consider removing this restriction in the next version update
