WiiM Home App v3.3.5 Update – Sep 16, 2025

Please review the app update release notes below. If you encounter any issues, feel free to reach out to us.

What’s New:

1. Audio Inputs: Live plugged-in status and signal detection for quicker setup.
2. [iOS] TIDAL Browsing: Toggle Grid or List views for albums, artists, and playlists.
3. "Now Playing" Screen: Optimized layout for a cleaner fit across all phone sizes.
4. VU Meter: New display option for a more visual playback experience.
5. RoomFit™: View raw vs. corrected frequency curves, rotate the screen during recording, and evaluate adjustments instantly.
6. Queue (Beta): Smoother playback from NAS/USB/Samba, better track‑order retention when shuffling, and faster queue performance.
7. WiiM Sound: Customize standby wallpaper and playback style on WiiM Sound devices.

Bug Fixes:

1. [Android] Volume Slider (Xiaomi): Tap-to-step (±1) now works as expected.
2. [iOS] LMS Artwork: Correct artwork now displays for LMS content.

Oh wow, I was surprised to find all five of my speakers missing from the app today and now I see this thread. Really disappointing, since I chose WiiM specifically for its integration with my Audio Pro speakers. This new “filtering” feels like a big step backward 😦

Don't personally have any Audiopro speakers, but this seems a really weird decision on their part. Would love to hear the thinking behind it.

At a minimum WiiM should update, as soon as possible, the release notes for this update. There may be a reason to exclude older Audiopro speakers. I can't imagine any possible reason not to advise people of this, so they can make an informed decision before upgrading.

VU Meter on the app running on IPad is not available for Wiim Mini :(

Hello, may I know what's the use of the "Evaluate" function?
It's the same evaluation that is performed at the end of each RoomFit run to ensure that the results are really as predicted. The difference is that you can perform this evaluation measurement any time you want.

Many users choose to manually modify the filters created by RoomFit. Using the evaluation function you can directly check the results of such modifications. It's a built-in frequency response measurement.

As far as I know there has never been an option to display VU meters inside the WiiM Home app and I cannot see it promised in the release notes.

Admittedly, I don't own an iPad.

4. VU Meter: New display option for a more visual playback experience.

Unless I’m mistaken, I’m not seeing any new VU options in my up-to-date app to select for my WiiM Ultra’s playback display.

Black, orange, blue, and yellow. Seems the same?

Got it, thanks for your explanation!

No, this doesn't say anything about a VU meter inside the WiiM Home app.

This one looks new to me:

Hello, may I know what's the use of the "Evaluate" function?
Hi,
@harkpabst is right.

Also, this is my personal application.

1) I want to run regular evaluations and make sure it sounds the same as before in my audio room.

2) When I make small changes to the layout of my room, I want to see how the acoustics have changed.

3) When creating my preferred EQ, I want to be able to easily measure and compare with the WiiM app.

WiiM Team has made these dreams of mine come true 😄
