It's already available.
Open network stream has 28 places for radio urls as far as I can remember.
Then there's tunein
Then vtuner
Iheart radio
And radio paradise
And probably more
Paying customers shouldn't have to jump through hoops just to get basic functionality!
Wiim should step up it's game... very poor effort Wiim!

You are complaining in the wrong place. In the app there is a three dot menu with the word more in the right bottom corner of the app.
When you press this you can submit feedback directly to wiim. When you do this they will send you an email. You have to reply to the email to have someone contact you directly .
Rgds

You didn't pay enough to be so demanding perhaps
Rubbish.

What's amazing is that this new "Radio" feature, which is broken, was released as a firmware update. The Wiim QA is sorely lacking. With such poor QA they must be crossing their fingers every time they release a firmware update hoping not to wake up to the news "Wiim firmware update bricks thousands of devices"... 🤦‍♂️

The Wiim Ultra hardware is outstanding, amazing value! (y) The UI/UX is not so good... (n)

With respect @MatthewS2077 . This is a user forum. The community curators, moderators, major contributors etc work very hard at pushing the wiim ecosystem forward. As I said you would be better to spend your time taking this up with wiim directly.

forum.wiimhome.com - is this not an official forum hosted by Wiim?

This original post was made by WiimTeam, is this not an official Wiim "employee"?

I didn't pay to be their QA, Wiim should be monitoring this thread. All feedback regardless of what avenue it's delivered should be digested by Wiim.

Frankly, they have dropped the ball with this firmware update. I hope they have not "jumped the shark" too! 🦈

You are correct. I am just saying that there is a seperate system in place to contact wiim directly for the issues and suggestions that you have.

My "Local radio" is empty (I'm in Australia)
My "Top iHeartRadio stations" is empty.
I'm also seeing "BBC Radio" in the top level menu, but that's of no interest to me.
"Popular Music Stations" is the only one that has stations showing.

Wiim your "radio stations" is pathetic. Who tested/developed this? They should be making the coffee instead...
Hi @MatthewS2077 ,

Thanks very much for your feedback. Our team will investigate this issue promptly.

Sounds just like a fanboi who's happy to put up with mediocrity...
No, I am a person for whom the new features are working decently well, and I am a person that has a bit of patience when new features are released and understand that they might need some tweaking. And, I am someone who tends to think people working on anything deserve a bit of respect and understanding and not to be pissed on by unreasonable people.

So "I'm alright Jack"?

We'll probably be waiting another month for the fix. But anyway at least they responded! That's promising... 🤞

You sound like a person who needs to calm down a tad. You paid a budget price for the WiiM and it seems that your expectations are a little higher than your budget. Respect for others on this forum costs nothing , theres no point in ranting because something doesn't go as you would like.

If someone has issue and unhappy, they can just send message to wiim and their log will also be sent for further investigation. There is no point to bring your frustration here because complaining in this tread will not fix your issue.

I tend to agree with this somewhat... Many of the recent updates introduced a bug or some half-baked feature (HDMI being a recent example).

It's a bit of both: if there's a serious issue, one should send feedback through the app, but I like to read about them in the forums as well before installing an update myself. These individual threads for the different firmware versions are created to share personal experiences. WiiM/Ryan have stated they actually DO read the forums.

Thanks for the on screen Radio button and BBC sub folder, however they are the low bitrate (96) versions of the stations.

Any chance you could replace these with the higher (320) bitrate versions?
