I don’t know if it sounds unrealistic, but cloud based integration with REW and a more professional microphone like the popular UMIK-1 for the room correction which is additionally supported by AI (for newbies) all inside the Wiim Home App would be a killer feature I think… even for an additional charge maybe..

What were you desperately waiting for? This update doesn't contain anything of interest for me.
I was waiting to see what the VU fix was 😁

Unfortunately it did not fix anything. Still useless.

* The scale is wrong.
* The needle indication don't match actual volume.
* The input measure do not include gain (pre-gain or EQ).
* The output measure goes above 0, if any gain is applied.
* The needle and scale is still hard to see from a distance.

Unfortunately the "HDMI ARC" fix didn't fix anything either. I still have to disconnect the HDMI cable when I want to get the TV sound from the internal speakers.

That doesn't work.
Try power cycling your Ultra and try again. If that doesn’t work, raise a ticket to WiiM via the more/feedback section in the app so they can inspect your logs and investigate further.

Which stream are you trying and do you get a higher stream from, say, the TuneIn app itself?

Power cycling done, but no change. Information about artist and title is also missing. My Bluesound Node ICON can do that:

And her the same stream on the WiiM Ultra:

Looks like working here.

Edit: I see what you mean. The Ultra screen don't show same bit rate as the app. That is clearly a bug. So don't know what to trust?

What's New:
    • Added Spotify Connect support in Recently Played.

I'm so happy to see Spotify's Recently Played on the Ultra screen, but there's one issue : the 'Favourite Tracks' playlist keeps a history of every single track.

When I play a 'Favourite Tracks' playlist, each track remains in the history. The playlist history does not.

Also, the WHA Recently Played does not keep a history, will this be supported in a future app update?

# The 'Favourite Tracks' playlist is the list that is saved when you press the Good button on a track.

Thank you.
