Try limiting it to 40 to 500hz and see if that improves anything. Having wide range may yield negative effect to others. It sounds much better with it turned off.

I hope not@RyanWithWiim , @WiiM Team , @WiiM Support
Despite the beta for this launching in June with scant updates since, and despite it being on the Ultra roadmap for the end of last month, this feature seems to have fallen off the radar. Has it been abandoned?
Hey all, it hasn't been abandoned, and I've been watching this feature myself for my own home. They ran into some issue that caused a delay and it's still being sorted out. I'll check in with the team and see if there's a status update I can share regarding a timeline, but they might not have that available right now.@RyanWithWiim , @WiiM Team , @WiiM Support

Thanks for that. On a wider point, can we please have more regular updates on beta programs too? I don’t think I’m alone in feeling there’s a signup, initial release of the beta, a flurry of activity from the testers then all quiet on the western front for weeks at times, with testers stuck on firmware that’s been overtaken by public releases. Maybe that’s a little harsh, but hopefully you know what I mean and take the point in the friendly manner I’m trying to give itHey all, it hasn't been abandoned, and I've been watching this feature myself for my own home. Hmm, that's an interesting idea. I feel like a percentage is pretty subjective, as the numbers wouldn't mean a whole lot. Generally by the time a feature hits beta it's often around 75-90% complete, if not fully done. But if this beta had been sitting at 90% for three months, or went up to 95, then down to 75, it's just lead to more frustration. I'll chat with the team and see if we can find a good approach balance for keeping you all informed while managing expectations and avoiding the most concerning drawbacks.@RyanWithWiim how about giving us progress update on main forum with percentage completion that all of us can see instead asking. The percentage of completion can be adjusted up and down based on if there was issue preventing them from releasing. Being transparent to your user based will make them happy.
I fully support this proposal. Thanks for that. On a wider point, can we please have more regular updates on beta programs too? Given the additional effort beta testers are putting in, could WiiM perhaps appoint a beta lead who could feed back regular news updates to the testers, maybe even on a weekly basis, of issues identified and progress towards resolution. Of course, this discourse could be kept to a private forum until release.
The general public don't seem to like devices with non working advertised features, so I think it is far better to keep it in Beta until it is eventually fit for release to the wider public.I think instead of beta which not many people would sign up which could delay further. Release it in general public along with other feature and mark the feature beta on release note so we all aware of situation and all of us getting the update would be able to find the bug and have it fix.
And history should teach people that the word "eventually" is an important one ;-)The general public don't seem to like devices with non working advertised features, so I think it is far better to keep it in Beta until it is eventually fit for release to the wider public.
That isn't the case here, I'm presuming that you are referring to the Ultra, and Amp Pro not being AirPlay receivers. This feature wouldn't help with that missing feature.Just a thought. The main reason for needing DLNA Cast is as a substitute for the absence - for whatever reason- of a specific feature from the more recent WiiM devices. Personally, I would have thought that this functionality would be close to the top of the priority list for the company. Of course, there may well be bumps in the road in its development to help explain its near 6 month gestation, but alternatively (and this is pure speculation in the face of a paucity of news regarding progress) if it were subsequently known that the reason for said missing feature was about to be resolved then there would be little point in investing time and energy in creating a substitute.
We can all dream.
Perhaps "eventually" should be replaced by "possibly".And history should teach people that the word "eventually" is an important one ;-)
You are referring to a completely different feature than the subject of this thread.Honestly, my needs for a DLNA full operation just resides on casting some audio files to the Ultra.
I can just add my 5cents gripe for the current inability to cast DSF-DFF files via DLNA that requires me to move those files on a devoted hard disk.
Don't know if something similar could happen in future, anyway I'm dreaming too.
