This subject was discussed in the following thread, which includes screenshots of the options available when using wired, and wireless connection methods.

Thanks, I couldn’t recall if that was a public discussion or not. Cheers

Are there any measurement reviews of it yet? Erin hasn't reviewed it yet, and I've not found anything that shows the distortion, group delay etc.
Still not clear if you can connect 2 x sub pro to an Ultra to make a wireless 2.2 system. If so, then it's conceivable that two ideally located Wiim subs would sound "better" than 2 x BK XXLS400s located in non ideal positions (because they're wired and I'm not so audiophile that I'd run cables under the floors / over ceilings) despite their ultra low bass shortcomings

WiiM Team corrected Ryan's answer here 🙂 (Now remembered..)

However, whether stereo playback is possible with 2 Subs is still unanswered.
Apologies if I've missed a update or conclusion to this question but is this hybrid connection verified, and can the Ultra compensate for timing delay between wired and wireless?
Even better, is is possible to connect 2 x subs wirelessly yet? That would a usp for the Wiim subs over buying better wired options on the basis wireless an go into the ideal spots for max room gain whereas wired is always a compromise, for me a massive compromise.

No, sorry I don't have a Sub pro, so I haven't tested it. Also, I don't recall seeing any posts saying that it was possible..

I'm not sure, but it's probably not possible. I think you'd need two WiiM units to connect two Sub Pro speakers wirelessly.

I think you need ask with the support team.

I used to set up an Ultra and a Pro in a multi-room group and connect two wired stereo sub this way.

However, since this method causes an issue where the volume isn’t synchronized when switching between multiple inputs, I currently have the Pro connected to the Amp Ultra’s Sub-out and am running the two subwoofers in mono.

OK, I see, and thanks for the reply. Sounds like 2 wired subs is going to be the more simple approach.

The wiim team have previously advised that two wiims are required to have two sub pros as a stereo pair.
I'll see if I can find the post.
It might even be in that introducing wiim sub pro thread.

Edit: this is the post I was thinking of:

Thanks, though it's a bit vague.

So I have an Ultra as my master preamp controller, and I connect 1 x sub pro to it (wireless or wired)

I add to the same home WiFi network another streamer, so say a Mini. I then link the Ultra and the Mini as in the same room. I then add the second sub (wirelessly) to the mini.

How do I sync the Roomfit and sub management over 2 devices?

There was a post around the use of two subs on the WiiM subreddit that tbh I gave up on halfway thru...

Thanks for sharing that, I'd not see it and frankly means that I'll not even think about them as a solution. If there was a Wiim sub pro plus or better a sub ultra that had a 12" driver, 400W or more then maybe one would be enough but at the moment it's a bit like the sonos sub. Useful if your mains are weedy or you're using a soundbar.
