If the WiiM ultra is earthed ( you have the earthed pinhole on the WiiM ) - does the overall sinad improve ?

My memory is not good any longer.
Results are slightly better when grounded, noise level is reduced. It's about 3 dB difference in case of sinad.
There is no difference when an LPF is used.

Both below the threshold of human audibility, so no issue.

I just read that sinad measurement alone is enough to say if two DACs sound the same ot not. Pure ASR style.

This seems to be a common problem with smps , the results often gets better with extra grounding

So , extra grounded the SINAD for the Ultra is 113 dB instead of 110 dB ?
Its getting better

I've been listening to my Ultra most of my WFH day, mostly Amazon Music but also checking out Tidal. Amazon has been better behaved, with only a few hick-ups, with [typically] fairly quick recovery, but it does sound, well, clean

This will be my last wiim product as I have mini, pro, amp and ultra. One particular feature I like on ultra that you can connect to external dac and can use sub. Wish usb can do this.
