We’re thrilled to make an official announcement that the WiiM Home app is now available on Apple TV! 🎉 (Yes, we know it's been in beta for a while and has had early access.)

This marks a big step forward in expanding control options for your WiiM devices by expanding the WiiM Home app to a new platform. With the Apple TV interface, you can manage playback and perform basic home screen functions all from your big screen.

What to Expect

✅ Streamlined Control: Manage your WiiM setup with ease
✅ Big-Screen Navigation: An intuitive UI designed for Apple TV
✅ More to Come: We're actively developing new features to enhance functionality

This initial release offers core controls and we may work to expand its capabilities over time. Stay tuned for future updates as we refine and improve the experience! We are working on an Android TV version as well!

📲 Now available on the App Store!

Apologies for the possibly naive questions as I don't currently have Apple TV, will this show what's playing in the WiiM off my 'USB-attached' music library and will it allow me to search for music/select music to play (that's in my library) from my TV?

Currently, it’s more of a remote display with minimal controls but who knows what might be added in the future. However, the lack of a proper keyboard interface means that search etc might be problematic - I mean, who likes those on screen keyboards you need to navigate by cursor? ;)

I think you can add a Bluetooth keyboard or use the iPhone as a remote, but I get your point.
