On average (and with few notable exceptions), Apple's market share in Europe is far lower than in the States. The gap is even bigger across Asia.Which in many cases is a good thing.
Again, as an owner of stuff in both builds, I'm not saying that Apple is just better. However, for things like this, it certainly tends to be.
There's a lot of things I can't do on my Apple stuff that I can with Android. Facts. No way around it.
But that's only good when it even works.
The Apple stuff doesn't do it all, but what it does, it always does.
So, whatever WiiM do, they will have to please both camps for the (un-)foreseeable future.
No doubt, a more closed ecosystem makes things easier for software developers. And Apple has long been far ahead when it comes to things like MDM (mobile device management) or assistive technologies. Android is still catching up.
