Filed a ticket. Will report what I hear.
They suggested I had perhaps re-installed the app at one point which would have cleared them out, and I couldn’t say definitively whether I had or not. It’s not a feature I regularly use, it’s just tends to be used when I’m checking out user queries.

Hi @WiiM Team and all,

The Evaluation function has been added and made me even more greedy.

Are these features worth considering in the future?

1) Comparison function for RoomFit profiles.

This function allows you to select two profiles and compare them. Measurements of profiles A and B are taken in sequence and the two responses are displayed on a single graphic.
(This is a task that does not involve profile editing. It only compares profiles that already exist).

And next is a little play function..

2) Blind test function.

Performs a blind test using the two profiles compared in 1. (Need a sound source for comparison.) When you tap the Start Test button, WiiM will play that sound and switch between the profiles automatically at random.

On the WiiM app, it does not show which profile is currently applied, only the 'Good button'. The user taps the Good button when they feel the sound quality is good. When the test is finished, the number of times the Good button is tapped is tallied and the number of taps for the two profiles is displayed.

(Personally) A simple sound source using a single instrument and divided into three parts (bass, middle and treble) is good to use for the blind test. It would be even better if the user could specify any source.

What do you all think?
🙂

Got an answer from feedback I sent

Thank you for reaching out. We will be adding support for AudioPro devices in the next version, which will be available in an upcoming update.

Hah; it only just occurred to me that it is not the same as the off-white one in my gallery. It might as well be the same, I don’t see much of a difference as you can tell.
That's what I thought. :D

Admittedly, I had to look thrice to spot the difference. Since I don't care too much about any meters on my Ultra or Amp Ultra the different faces are of equal importance to me. ;)

I should add that I still like the blue one the least.

Until then I'll use my C3 as the world's most expensive paperweight, maybe. (And the two more in transit as bookends?)

This is really poor, isn't it? And it's coming from someone who has been Apple-fanboy-like re- all things Wiim to friends and family - any flurry of sales in the Buckinghamshire area, that's down to me that is!
