What's New:

1. Per-Channel EQ: Set parametric EQ settings for left and right channels individually (requires app version 2.10.7 or later).
2. Pre-Gain Feature: Added logic for Pre-Gain functionality. Compatible with app version 2.11.0 and above.
3. Enhanced Stability: Fixed crashes with Spotify Connect and TIDAL Connect.
4. Refined Input Auto-Sensing: Enhanced for smoother audio transitions with reduced delay.
5. Output Change Enhancement: Preserves the playing queue when switching audio outputs.
6. Stabilized Wi-Fi Connection: Updated the Wi-Fi driver to enhance connection stability.
7. Bluetooth Playback Upgrade: Enhanced Bluetooth playback to reduce latency and eliminate stuttering issues.
8. DSD Playback Enhancement: Now supports playing DSD audio tracks in DFF format.
9. Soundtrack SDK Enhancement: Upgraded for a better listening experience.
10. Playback Improvements:

- Fixed TIDAL playback skipping and stopping issues.
- Resolved Bluetooth playback distortion over long periods.
- Provide the correct playback index for the app to display.

Bug Fixes:

1. Playback Enhancement: Minimized playback latency.
2. Squeezelite Enhancements: Resolved issues with artwork display and connectivity with the latest Logitech Media Server (LMS).

OK, that does sound a little more concerning....
Maybe give it a few days and then send feedback via the app if no changes?

I would not be worried. I think the August 8 release was actually a beta release to a small group of users. I am guessing there were a bunch of issues that WiiM fixed and released as a new version with the 4.8.623428 from 07/17/2024 being eliminated.

My WiiM is on 4.8.623428 from 07/17/2024 as well.

My Pro Plus is still on Firmware 4.8.623428 from 07/17/2024 and shows no update available. Should I be worried?

Mine it was recently updated to the new firmware. I'm in Argentine, Buenos Aires

Germany, update done. Now much more radio stations produce drop outs, than before. All has become a little bit more erratic. Scanning the network for AP fails after a while, selection of favourites in vTuner did not react for a time, then it suddenly played the station I selected in vTuner, but communicated the meta data much later.

Updated. There is no dsd playing. It even doesn’t see dff files via dlna

What DLNA server are you using? Does it present DFF files to client software?

I have received the pro plus firmware update, and the app updated about an hour ago to ver 2.11.2.240816.61b297 but when I look at the settings for room correction I don't see an L/R option, just the same 4 variables as before: target curve, freq range, max gain and max Q. I am using Android though, if that matters?

This is a per-channel PEQ and not a new feature in RC.

I also do not see a L/R option for PEQ.
