I'm so happy to see Spotify's Recently Played on the Ultra screen, but there's one issue : the 'Favourite Tracks' playlist keeps a history of every single track.

When I play a 'Favourite Tracks' playlist, each track remains in the history. The playlist history does not.

Also, the WHA Recently Played does not keep a history, will this be supported in a future app update?

# The 'Favourite Tracks' playlist is the list that is saved when you press the Good button on a track.

Thank you.
I think this is the nature if how Spotify Connect works. Only one track URL at the time is forwarded to the WiiM device and the WiiM Home App don't know anything about it (unless you use the app).

The recently played list is cept on the local device and not distrbuted to other devices.

Hmm, but other playlists are shown in Recent played on the Ultra screen. Also I can register Favourite Tracks playlist in the WHA presets.

Hello, for every VU meter lovers... the reading at "output amplitude" seems to be dead. Nothing serious, but worth note it...
Did you try to turn it all the way up?

The readings are bad and wrong but it still works at very high volume.

On my device it's inert, disregarding of the volume.
Well, it's fresh meat for a future update! 🤣🤣🤣

-edit-
Another little spass... in "original signal" the VU reading is quite erratic.
During the rotation of the volume wheel, the needle often bumps full scale.
Amusing behavior, but definitely worth of the "previous version" beta choice. ;)

For me too, everything (according to the line input) now is complete wrong.
With the same settings as before on the VU I now have absolute no movement, no matter which of the two settings I choose! No movement!

Before the update I could set the Volume of my TV on 18 out of 50, set the pregain on Wiim to max, and could set the Volume on Wiim to 80. My Amp was set to normal Volume. Everything on the VU was fine. Normal, as I expected that.

Now, after the update, I have to set my TV Out on 40 to 45(!) (out of 50), so nearly MAXed output, Put the Pregain on Wiim to the lowest, put the volume on theWiim to 98 (!), and my Amp to absolute Minimum Volume. So now after the update everything is the wrong way.
And I think you know, that if you max out everything BEFORE the Amp too all other cracks, and klicks are amplified too to max. This should absolutely not be the case. And all this, only to see a little movement on VU..

Please guys, put the VU settings back to where they were before the update, especially to the Line Input.

I do not want to set everything to Max, only to see some little movement on the VU! As it is, it is awfull! 😔

BTW: Is it possible to go back to the previous Firmware? If yes, how?

Welcome.

The Join Beta Testing option within Device Info (Ultra only I believe) allows you to go back to a previous version, but not the previous version as we were expecting / hoping.
