Yes, there are alternatives, and I currently have my own.
But we're talking quality, and integration into the WiiM infrastructure here.
On other similar threads I have posted on the same issue - especially regarding the power input/battery pack issues mentioned by others above.
Perhaps WiiM could consider a compromise, by reducing the power output of the amplifier vis a vis the overall power requirement / battery drain of a potential rechargeable version of the speaker.....
I mean, does it really have to be a wopping 100w peak power output?
50w might be adequate ?
The old Squeezebox Radio is an example of a battery powered streamer albeit from 2010 or so 🙂
