Which speakers are you using with your Wiim Amp Ultra?

Got a second KC62 on Wednesday. The pair now will assist my small Harbeth BBCs. Have to do some fine-tuning, but already now it sounds fantastic.

I've bought the WiiM Ultra with a pair of Wharfedale Evo 5.2 speakers, have to say I think it sounds great! I did want some floorstanders however the projector screen comes down too far so can't live with them.

Using them with a Pioneer Sub from the old surround system which does seem to add a little, but isn't really required, will upgrade to a larger sub (recommendations welcomed).

Mainly use them to listen to music while reading, and for Movies (but no I do not want to go back to a surround system).

I have two sets of speakers that I use. The first set are SVS Ultra Towers ( 8 ohm, 88 db sensitivity) and the second set are 2 B&W DM603 S3 (8 ohm, 90 db sensitivity) and 2 B&W LCR 600 S3 (8 ohm, 89 db sensitivity) wired in parallel (one 603 S3 and one LCR 600 S3 per channel). The parallel B&W equal a 4 ohm load on each channel.

I’ve always liked devialet speakers and just continue to use them as they evolve. I have them in other rooms so there’s also a matter of consistency. (Dumb I know)

Out of curiosity, anyone driving Harbeths, Fynes or Sonus Fabers with their Wiim Amp Ultra?

I used a standard WiiM amp with my Sonus Faber Nova IIs while my main amp was being serviced, no issues at all though I didn’t try to drive them too hard!

Hooked up a pair off monitor audio rs6 Silver and a pair of Dali zensor 5 both sounded great on the Ultra.
Ended up with the Dali because the are bit less fuzzy placement wise.
The monitors needed a bit more space and toe in while the Zensor didn't need that.
Both great speakers with there own character.

Dynaudio Emit M10 stuffed in a bookshelf. The speakers really need the EQ as well as the RoomFit as they are voiced with the tweeter close to 3 dB too hot.

Great to read that this gem of a streamer amp is used to drive ESL-63s.

It is my opinion that the Wiim Amp Ultra punches above its weight. Having said that, I am curious to know which speakers users are using it with. I would like to get a sense of the price range of speakers the Wiim can handle.
Please let us know which speakers you are using.
