Honestly, I don't understand what you mean. Your getting "1"? One channel at a time? What exactly are your measuring and how?

I measure the rca out with a multimeter but it seems it is working. But need to borrow some amplifier to try it.

If it seems to be working (you're getting a meaningful voltage reading when music is playing and the volume is turned up) then the Ultra is certainly not faulty, true.

You could open your own thread in the general troubleshooting forum if you still think some members here could provide input:

I really appreciate the ultra (I have 2) but the vu meter... It's embarrassing... Couldn't we have a spectrum maybe?

No, you have to send feedback to WiiM through the WiiM Home app on your smartphone (tab "More" => "Feedback").

You should do that anyway, reporting your issue. When sending feedback through the WiiM Home app, device logs will be sent along so WiiM might be able to spot any irregularities.

I asked because my Google Home version is a very different string. Yours has a RC designation I have not seen before. Also it is a 1.68 so not the newest 2.0.

Has something changed regarding ARC? It has worked perfectly for months but since this update, after some time switched off, there is no sound unless the Ultra is rebooted.

I think that 1.68 is the actual version number used to identify "GC4A 2.0" or "Castlite" implementations.

Maybe it's time for us to leave the whitelist ...

I requested removal from 1.56 chromecast. Received the penultimate version 5.2.711448 with 1.68…

It does not cast correctly from the Qobuz app. 96kKz gets transcoded to 44.1. Time to go back to 1.56 again…
