Sitting here listening to my radio station’s stream on WiiM Ultra. I am very impressed.

@harkpabst
Vu meters, input vs output.
iirc, we discussed this back in June last year.
Seems good things do come to those who wait!
Now, didn't we also discuss stereo meters...

Yes, everything should be optional!
But too small...? My RME dac screen is tiny, yet nicely shows stereo input and output levels and a spectrum analyser. :)
Yes I know this dac but there is a line meter if I’m not wrong. Screen is toon arrow to keep 2 VU in my opinion. Btw „led” lines as an option would be also great :)

Firmware updates are sort of rolled out in stages.

In most cases, the typical process goes like this: For a couple of days only the best looking customers are served. If no major complaints come in from them, the common masses will receive the update, too.
Ok, we have to wait a little:).
Just bought some extra surround loudspeaker drivers ( Markaudio ) and my DIY building will be finnished in a week.
I hope that it will be possible to use surround with the help of my Ultra connected to ethernet and my WiiM PRO via wifi. Or do one have to connect all WiiM devices to wifi ?

As long as all devices are on same logical network it doesn't matter how they are connected.
