So when is it appropriate? The next update?Good point, but still a bit of a tease to announce a feature in a firmware update that won't be useable until they get around to doing something they haven't done yet.... As noted, just a minor annoyance.
Seems simple to me -- announce it when it will actually work.So when is it appropriate? The next update?
If the feature has already been added but is not listed, that would be an inaccurate record of the update.
Requested months ago!@WiiM Team you have an already gorgeous images looping on one of the clocks. Why you are not letting us choose the frequency of the image changing or simple choose only one of the images without looping?
I like the fact that they are just transparent about it. This feature is a part of this firmware update. So it's announced with the firmware changelog. Although the app update seems to be taking a while now.Seems simple to me -- announce it when it will actually work.
That helped with the sound quality!Power cycle your device and check all your settings
Drop WiiM a ticket via the feedback section in the app in case it’s on a beta version by mistake.I still don't have it. Current version 5.2.633437
Did you ever file a ticket for any issues recently? Chromecast issue perhaps? If your current version was pushed out to you by WiiM as a "fix" to something, you may need to contact support again and ask for the most recent. But I can tell you from personal experience, stick with 633437 if you use Chromecast.I still don't have it. Current version 5.2.633437

So is the general release firmware still using the 16/48 limited Castlite 2.0? I thought a recent release fixed that, but then again I’m on the smart preset betaRight. I asked WiiM about this as I also have 633437. This FW brought back pre-Google Cast code.

Yes, USB Disk has disappeared from Home Music Share under browse in the app, however USB is available and playable in Source Input. Also USB Disk as a DLNA library is still available in my BubbleUPnP android app. So as you say DLNA not working as it did.@WiiM Support
DLNA not working properly after recent update. Media in the USB Disk that connected to WiiM ultra disappeared from Home Music Share. The CD also can’t play over the DLNA network now.
WiiM already explained that this was a deliberate decision and - more importantly - that they will revert to the previous behaviour.Yes, USB Disk has disappeared from Home Music Share under browse in the app, however USB is available and playable in Source Input. It’s werd, playing source from USB disk, then automatically change to WiFi. Actually impact to me is, I can‘t play CD over the WiFi after recent firmware update.WiiM already explained that this was a deliberate decision and - more importantly - that they will revert to the previous behaviour.
