Completed Automatic timing alignment for Main Speakers and Subwoofer

Beta testing concluded and stable version released to the public builds.
How about move the sub about 2 to 3 feet and see if that would change. If that stay 8ms there is a problem.
If I move the sub towards me by a metre or so I get 10ms so it does change but why doesn't a 180 degree phase change affect it?

could be a bug? Try both 0 and 180 and see what would be the outcome.
I suppose it is possible that the phase switch in the subwoofer settings isn't working. I'll use REW to see if flicking the phase switch makes any difference to the response. It used to be fairly obvious.

I hope it will be possible to save info about the delay to created presets. I have 2 different listening positions

See the recent post by Harkpabst outlining the complexities of wall reflections.

I simplified my earlier reply as much as possible because time coherence is a complex subject and real-time results are affected by more than just room placement. This is especially true with bass response involving longer wavelengths which vary depending on the reflectivity or otherwise of the major surfaces they interact with.

In spite of this and without seeing response curves that the WiiM algorythms are working with I still recommend you accept the original results (unless you can hear a notable difference between the two, in which case use that phase setting).

It gives consistent results but I can't really hear the difference between my old delay setting and the automatic one. I was also concerned that flipping the phase by 180 degrees didn't change the delay.
Please report to wiim so they look at it. Thanks!

I have just become aware that the iOS app Housecurve does automatic subwoofer timing alignment so someone with Housecurve would be the ideal tester for this feature. Far better than relying on me. Is anyone else even taking part in this beta testing?

If I remember correctly that when you got the beta it was not labeled beta so getting out won’t be easy. House curve has many features but in order to use those features you need to pay for the app.

We have forum members that use Housecurve though. They would be perfect to test this.
